Paediatric Asthma Pocket Guide

Latest version: September 2025

Asthma is a commonchronic inflammatory condition of the lower airways that may present at any age. Early-onset asthma (≤ 11 years) is typically allergic and often also T2 high, characterised by a specific cytokine profile, including IL-4 and IL-13, and potentially associated with eosinophilia. Other phenotypes exist (viral-induced, exercise-induced).

EUFOREA launches its new paediatric asthma pocket guide – a new addition to its asthma pocket guide pillar. This paediatric asthma pocket guide (children ≤ 11 years) is for non-respiratory clinicians.
