2026 marks an exciting new chapter for EUFOREA as we celebrate a decade of advancing care in allergy and airway diseases. Founded with a mission to reduce the burden of chronic respiratory diseases through research, education, and advocacy, EUFOREA has spent the past ten years bringing together leading experts, healthcare professionals, patients, and organisations from around the world to improve patient outcomes and help shape the future of care.
Welcoming New Global Leaders
As part of this new era, EUFOREA is proud to welcome three new global leaders to its board:
- Professor Klaus Rabe — Senior Professor of Medicine at the Christian Albrechts University in Kiel and Director of the Airway Research Centre North (ARCN) and vice chair of the German Centre for Lung Research (DZL).
- Professor Dr Anju T. Peters — Expert Panel Member and Board Member of EUFOREA, Professor of Medicine (Allergy and Immunology) and Otorhinolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery in Chicago, United States. Prof. Peters is also an EUFOREA Rhinitis Expert Panel Member.
- Professor Joseph Han — Professor in the Department of Otolaryngology & Head and Neck Surgery at. Eastern Virginia Medical School and EUFOREA CRS/EPOS Expert Panel Member
