Ein EUFOREA-Kommentar im Anschluss an die Arbeit \u00fcber die Epidemiologie von Komorbidit\u00e4ten und deren Zusammenhang mit der Asthmakontrolle<\/a>, der die Datenerhebung von mehr als 12.000 Asthmapatienten in Ungarn \u00fcber ihren Zustand widerspiegelt. Er unterstreicht die Bedeutung der Auflistung der chronischen Rhinosinusitis (CRS) mit oder ohne Nasenpolypen (CRSwNP oder CRSsNP) aufgrund ihrer hohen Inzidenz und Pr\u00e4valenz sowie ihres Zusammenhangs mit Asthma, was auch in GINA und EPOS bef\u00fcrwortet wird. <\/p>\n

CRS ist eine weit verbreitete Erkrankung, die ein erhebliches Gesundheitsproblem darstellt und bekannterma\u00dfen bis zu 10,9 % der Weltbev\u00f6lkerung betrifft, w\u00e4hrend eine schwere CRSwNP bei etwa 1\u20132 % der europ\u00e4ischen Bev\u00f6lkerung auftritt. Die Pr\u00e4valenz von Asthma bei CRSsNP-Patienten liegt bei 21,2 % und bei CRSwNP-Patienten bei 44,9 %.
