
The iconic 20 km de Bruxelles returns on Sunday, 31 May 2026, with a mass start in Cinquantenaire Park, Brussels—featuring separate timings for handisport (09:30 AM), runners (10:00 AM, in six waves), and walkers (11:30 AM).
As Belgium’s premier road race, the event attracts 45,000–49,000 participants from around the world, with an impressive representation from over 140 nationalities in the 2025 edition.Â
The scenic yet demanding course leads through Brussels’s most beautiful landmarks, including Cinquantenaire Park, the Royal Palace, the European Quarter, Bois de la Cambre, and the rigorous climb on Avenue de Tervueren—culminating beneath the majestic triumphal arch at Cinquantenaire.
This event is open to all—from elite athletes to recreational runners, walkers, and handisport competitors. The race atmosphere is festival-like, with live music, enthusiastic crowds lining the route, and a finishing zone charged with excitement and camaraderie.
