In 2021 publiceerde de Pati\u00ebntenadviesraad van EUFOREA een <a href=\"https:\/\/www.euforea.org\/nl\/news\/onvervulde-behoeften-van-patienten-in-de-zorg-voor-chronische-rhinosinusitis-met-neuspoliepen\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><b>verklaring<\/b><\/a> <b> <\/b>die nieuwe inzichten bood over de onderschatte last van CRSwNP en de tekortkomingen van de huidige zorg, evenals meerdere aanbevelingen voor actieplannen voor de implementatie van betere zorg voor CRSwNP onder alle artsen die pati\u00ebnten met deze invaliderende ziekte behandelen.<\/p>\n<p>De doelstellingen van deze campagne zijn:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>het vergroten van het bewustzijn over CRSwNP en comorbiditeiten (astma, atopische dermatitis en de impact ervan op de levenskwaliteit bij artsen en beleidsmakers),<\/li>\n<li>het aanmoedigen van zorgverleners op alle niveaus om meer te leren over hoe zij de resultaten voor pati\u00ebnten die leven met CRSwNP kunnen verbeteren door middel van betere diagnose, behandeling en verwijzingen naar gespecialiseerde zorg,<\/li>\n<li>pati\u00ebnten voorlichten over de symptomen van CRSwNP, zodat zij passende zorg kunnen zoeken bij het beheer van hun ziekte of om naasten te ondersteunen die lijden aan CRSwNP en
