Ondanks de hoge prevalentie van chronische rhinosinusitis (CRS) en de impact ervan op de levenskwaliteit van pati\u00ebnten, bestaat er momenteel geen Europese pati\u00ebntenorganisatie die de belangen van CRS-pati\u00ebnten behartigt. Om dit gat te dichten en CRS-pati\u00ebnten een stem te geven, heeft EUFOREA een pati\u00ebntenadviesraad opgericht. Het doel hiervan is om de behoeften van pati\u00ebnten in het dagelijks leven beter te begrijpen, het bewustzijn op politiek niveau te vergroten en pati\u00ebnten te betrekken bij de ontwikkeling van nieuwe ge\u00efntegreerde oplossingen om de toegang tot een nauwkeurige diagnose en behandelingen te versnellen. Dit rapport vat de belangrijkste discussiepunten samen van de startbijeenkomst van de raad op 8 juni 2018 en schetst de belangrijkste doelstellingen voor de toekomst. <\/p>\n
