Anju T Peters

Anju Peters is a Professor of Medicine and the Associate Chief of Clinical Research and Practice Innovation in the Division of Allergy and Immunology in the Department of Medicine. She also has an appointment in the Department of Otolaryngology, Head and Neck Surgery. In addition, Anju is the Director of the Center for Clinical Research at the Northwestern University Clinical and Translational Sciences Institute (NUCATS- member of the Clinical and Translational Science Awards Program, NIH) and the Medical Director of the Northwestern Medicine Clinical Research Unit.

Anju is a busy clinician active in clinical research and medical education. She has published over 100 peer-reviewed articles and is a world leader in chronic rhinosinusitis and comorbid conditions.

Anju is extensively involved in the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma, and Immunology (AAAAI) and serves on the Board of the AAAAI. She has previously served as the Co-chair of the AMPC Programming workgroup, Vice Chair and Chair of the Rhinosinusitis Committee, and, more recently, Secretary, Vice Chair, and then Chair of the Immunotherapy, Rhinitis, Sinusitis, and Ocular Allergy Interest Section. In addition, Anju has led the Practice Parameters for Rhinosinusitis, the AAAAI/ACAAI Board Review Course for Biologics and Rhinitis/Rhinosinusitis, the ACAAI Year in Review, and is part of the CRS Global Panel Expert in the European Forum for Research and Education in Allergy and Airway Diseases (EUFOREA).
